Fashion lives!
Last Thursday, Marie and I spent an evening shooting an event for the lovely ladies of LilyPad DC, an organization with a mission to "entertain, spoil, indulge, and delight the young professional DC woman." Nothing can possibly be more fabulous than that!
The event, "The Fashionable Life," held at Hillyer Art Space, was a beauty and fashion happy hour, and there was certainly plenty of both! In addition to networking, the ladies who attended enjoyed manicures, eyebrow shaping, tips from stylists, great music, makeovers, delectable bites and wine. What more could a girl want?!
Even in spite of DC's week of nonstop rain, the city was abuzz about this event, and the floods didn't keep people away. This was the place to be. The Fashionable Life was more than just a good time, it was absolutely fab!

ReplyDeleteI was especially excited to introduce my Stella & Dot jewelry line to many of the ladies (love the jade green Camilla Ring shown above) and looks like it was a reintroduction to others, since the gorgeous beauty in the 5th photo is already wearing our intricate Marrakesh Bib necklace! Yay!!
